Simon Moore
Communications Lead
Simon brings over 25 years’ experience in communications for social change for a range of international and domestically focused NGOs and non-profits working across HIV and global health, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, international development, and the trade union movement.
He has spent many years’ building and leading communications teams and programmes at organisations including Saferworld, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, Start Network, and the FDA (UK trade union). He also spent nine years at the internationally focused HIV and sexual health NGO Avert where as Director of Programmes and Digital Health Strategy he led a range of behaviour change focused digital communication programmes designed to support individuals, community health workers and primary health practitioners to build their sexual health knowledge, skills and confidence, and their ability to act.
He has a keen interest in monitoring, evaluation and learning, with experience developing and improving MEL systems and approaches at both organisational and communication programme level.
Simon has an MSc in Behaviour Change from the University of Derby and an MA in International Policy and Diplomacy from Staffordshire University.
